WAKOL D 3540 Contact cork flooring adhesive
Scope of application
Water based contact cork flooring adhesive based on dispersed materials can be used for bonding unpainted, waxed, or unpainted cork flooring (back unpainted) to absorbent or non absorbent substrate flooring. It can also be used for pasting skirting boards, carpets, and PVC flooring.
Drying time

The time it takes for the material to change from white to transparent

Absorbent base floor: 30-45 minutes

Non absorbent base floor: 60-90 minutes

Opening hours
About 2-3 hours, pre coating for about 60-90 minutes

Not lower than 5 ℃, prone to freezing
Storage temperature
Can be stored for 12 months at 5-25 ℃

The coating method is to roll coat the back of the cork and the base floor with a fuzzy roller

Coating amount for sticking cork: 250g/㎡ or 150-300g/㎡ depending on the coating method, substrate material, and installed floor

Specifications

 The grassroots ground must be level, dry, and firm, without cracks, dust, stains, or substances that affect adhesion. If the base layer is an installed floor, it must be firmly installed, and the surface wax and maintenance products must be removed.

You can also pre coat Wakol D 3540 on the back of the cork. Before pasting, simply roll and apply a layer of cork glue on the base floor. After it dries and becomes transparent, the pre coated cork can be pasted onto the ground in a contact manner.
